Why Local Matters

Support Local Businesses
Why Strive Uses Our Own People to Answer Customer Calls, Live Chat—and More
Every customer interaction is a chance to build trust, solve problems, and show what we mean when we say, "it's how we do it." That’s why we don’t use outsourced call centers, scripts, or chatbots. When you reach out to us, you’re talking with a real person - someone from our own team who lives and works in your local community.
And it doesn’t stop at customer service. Our delivery drivers, salespeople, and support staff are all part of the same local team. Whether you're placing an order, getting advice, or receiving a delivery, you're interacting with someone who’s truly part of your community.
1. We Know Our Business—And Our Community
Our people know our products and services - and they know you. From the salesperson helping you find the right fit, to the driver delivering your order and taking it exactly where you want it in your office (not dropping it at the door), to the person answering your call or chat, we’re all local. We shop where you shop. We support the same schools and attend the same events. We’re neighbors, not strangers.
2. We Build Real Connections
There’s a real difference when you're dealing with someone who actually works for the company and lives nearby. Whether it’s a quick question, a delivery, or a long-term solution, you get authentic service from someone who genuinely wants to help. That’s not something you can outsource.
3. We Listen and Learn, Directly from You
Because our own people handle every step, from sales to support to delivery, we hear your feedback firsthand. There’s no third-party relay. That means we can respond faster and make decisions that reflect what our customers actually need.
4. We Keep It Human
We believe in real conversations, not canned responses. Our team is made up of people who care - customer care people, sales professionals, and delivery drivers alike. Everyone is invested in your experience because it reflects on our community and our reputation.
5. We Keep Dollars in the Community
When you support a local business that employs local people, more of your money stays right here. It goes back into the schools, parks, and services that make our town strong. Every order, every call, every delivery supports local jobs and helps our community thrive.
The Bottom Line
From customer care to sales to delivery, we keep it local because it matters. We know our business, and we know you. We live here. We work here. We care. So when you contact us or meet us face to face, you're connecting with someone who’s part of your own community - ready to help and proud to represent a company that puts people first.

Thank you firefighters
As many of you know, the fires in Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho have been devastating, with some affected areas close to our Meridian location. Our brave front-line firefighters urgently need additional supplies, and we have an opportunity to support them.
Amber Hall
Amber Hall - Customer Care Meridian
Amber Hall, Customer Care Meridian, learned about a donations drive to assist these firefighters. Showing her compassion, she asked if she could purchase some of the supplies from our Meridian warehouse to donate to this critical cause. Jeff Lurcook, President, immediately agreed, recognizing the importance of this effort.
Amber generously paid for half of the supplies, and Strive covered the other half.
Amber, your selflessness and dedication are truly inspiring. Thank you for reminding us of the power of community and generosity in times of need.
Please see below if you would like to donate to help the firefighters working so hard in hazardous conditions.
Kuna Fire Station - 150 W. Boise St. Kuna, Idaho
The department states if they are on a call, to please leave the items by the front door.
Needs:
  • Gallon Zip Lock Baggies
  • Personal Hygiene Products (Deodorant, Body Powder, Toothpaste, etc.)
  • Sunscreen
  • Hard Candy that won't melt
  • Individual packaged snacks (won't melt and no chocolate)
  • Hydration packs (Liquid IV, Drip Drops, etc)
  • Wet wipes (small packets)

Thank You!
